I'm using the default email client, I've had two IMAP email accounts in there since I got the device a few months ago. All the account settings are correct - if I manually push the Refresh button, it successfully retrieves the email.
Initially, I had it on a 15 minute fetch schedule, and once I realized that it hasn't been working, I switched it to push, but it's still doing the same thing.
I have background data enabled. My mobile data is enabled. My Exchange email (though touchdown) is OK. I do not have any task killer apps loaded.
Thoughts? Is there a known issue out there? This is driving me crazy.

I would just leave PUSH enabled so the emails immediately go OUTBOUND when you compose them. You don't have "DSync over Wi-Fi Only" set, do you? I've seen various reports of this situation occuring from time to time for people. Have you tried a simple reboot of the phone? Just a thought. Or maybe install the K9 email app and see if that one works more consistently for you - some have suggested it's more bullet-proof. Good luck.
