My FM radio app just suddenly refused to launch: with the earphones plugged in.
It just keeps "...launching; please wait" but it never launches.
I haven't a clue how to correct the problem )-:

Try Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All Tab/Radio and Clear Data

I had this, where I was listening to the radio when the phone reset - the radio kept playing, but once I stoped it, I couldn't restart. If the previous poster's suggestion doesn't work, try Settings->Applications->Running services and see if there is already an instance of FM Radio running. If so, end it and then restart FM Radio. That should fix it.

I found it at the location you indicated. I tapped "touch to stop" and tried again but it would still not launch.

I cleared all data and even tapped "Force stop" and, as the next user suggested, it didn't work.

You need to have an earphone plugged in for the FM to work.

I installed a keyboard and had to use the "Unknown sources" ..."Allow installations of non-Market Applications". I uninstalled the keyboard then turned my Droid off and back on. The FM radio launched when I was finished.
I should have turned the Droid off and on first, so I can't be sure it was the keyboard. Turning it off may have been all I had to do. I will have to re-install the keyboard to see if it was the keyboard that caused the problem.
