I would contact your email provider if the setting below don't work.
Outgoing server:
CT, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, NE, OH, RI, VA smtp.east.cox.net
AZ, CA, NV smtp.west.cox.net
outgoing port could either be 465 or 587
outgoing does require security (SSL)

The only way that this would be possible to do is to try and set it up as an exchange email since it is off of a separate server. I would contact your IT administration to see if they can assist you with the exchange email information. Hope this helps.

I set mine up with the help of the below site. It had the correct ports to enter. I hope this helps. It's the Motorola Website.

The strangest thing...I live and work in NY metro area; AKO never worked. For two weeks in South Carolina, AKO worked (no setting changes). What is that about?
Worse yet, cannot get AKO on DROID X either...and now you cannot even select specific certificates.

Have you triedn Uninstalling the email APP, deleteing the Account (My Accounts), reboot, Add the Account back, and re-add the APP? That has worked for many people.

If all else fails you can give Touchdown or K9 a look, they seems to work well for a number of users.. Also Executive Assistant may help..

K9: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.fsck.k9&feature=search_result

if you're with cox, in log in, don't use @cox.net
pop 995 secure, smtp 465 secure

Tony,
Have you tried to talk to the people that run AKO? They should be able to tell you the settings needed to be able to use the email.
