Droid x has arrived, don't order 1 day shipping

I ordered a Droid X on the release date of July 15th and paid extra for overnight shipping.  What I just found out is that overnight shipping in my case means 4-day shipping - or receipt by July 19th.  As I am currently traveling and will be in specific locations only for a few days at a time, I will now have to play catch up with Fed Ex, having my phone chase me around the country.

 

One night shipping should mean one night shipping.  Even if the order didn't get filed until the 16th, one night shipping should have gotten me the phone today, not Monday by which time I will be 600 miles away from the shipping address.

 

Great disappointmen and false claims on shipping.

It is Verizon's fault that they did not accurately describe limitations on overnight shipping.  See Shipping Nightmare for more of the mess.

it is fairly common knowledge that saturday and sunday is not a shipping day. i could overnight something to you on friday, but it gets there monday unless i specifically request and pay (about $50 extra) for "saturday delivery" with fedex. i don't believe ups and others even run trucks on saturday. fedex does, but it's ridiculous what they charge.

You obviously don't get items shipped often either.  

 

This is why everything has a warning label these days.  Coffee cups: Warning contents VERY hot.  Plastic bags: Warning do not place over your head.   Car Windshield sun-shields: Warning do not drive with sun shield in place.  

 

I fear this is what happens when we interfere with natural selection.

My order for the Droid processed on the 15th, I chose overnight shipping and got it on the 16th.  It definitely goes by next business day and by what your post shows, you actually did get it the next business day.

You had to pay for overnight?  I upgrade my phones all the time and overnight is included.
