Droid x gingerbread software upgrade

The web states the gingerbread upgrade is out.  I have yet to receive this OTA upgrade message.  Did they miss me or is the web wrong.  How do I get it?

Go to Settings - About Phone - System Updates. That will check for new updates. It gets pushed out in waves. It came out in early June of this year, and most people are JUST now getting it for some reason.
