I use my google navigation several times each day and have had problem with it. 95% of the time, I get the message "Searching for GPS"- wjhich lasts for a very long time. I have had to reset the battery - sometimes that works but most times it just gives me an incorrect routing with wrong way turns etc without any navigation. It is very frustrating as I was just told today at the store that it is a Google problem. Does anyone else have that issue?

My GPS stopped working just after the 30-day cutoff for new replacements. Search the posts for "GPS connection". Looks like this is becoming more of an issue than just a 1-off problem. Please let me know what you have and have not tried.

First, is your GPS turned on? Second, don't rely on the Google Navigator. For the heck of it, I gave it two different destinations that I drive to almost daily. Oh yeah! Got me to each of them, however, in a long, out-of-the way fashion. One of them was about five miles out of the way. Problem, as far as I can tell, is that it tried using the main streets only and didn't consider side streets, which is the way I go. As for VNav from Verizon, don't know anything about it except that it costs.

I seem to get a faster lock if I do not enable the "Use Wireless Network" because I believe with all options checked it has to scan all of the connections to see which one is more accurate and wireless connection scans tower and jumps towers regularly to give best signal.
