Droid X or HTC Incredible, which is best?

I know the answers will be opinion based, but that's what I'm looking for your opinions. Been looking real hard at the droid X, but I see that the Incredible is $50.00 less. Any reason why I should pay $50.00 more?

All Opinions are welcome!!!!

Thanks!

I've had both the Droid X and the HTC Incredible. I returned the HTC Incredible and still have the Droid X. The only thing I liked about the Incredible is that I believe the camera took slightly better pictures. However, that aside, the screen of the DX is so much better. I like the idea that the notification blinking light stays on until you pull it down. On the Incredible it stays on for only five minutes. So if you look at the phone you don't know if you have an Email or not. Widgets for the Incredible are almost non-existent. It only offers a few HTC widgets. The DX have widgets from both Motorola and from Android. I can go on, but I think that you get the idea. My vote is for the Droid X.

I had an upgrade coming, and I had always been curious about the Dinc, so I ordered one. But it arrived with two serious problems, so I never got to fully evaluate the phone (except to marvel at the beautiful screen!). Which I hate, because I had the hots for the DInc when they weren't available because of the screen shortages, and then the DX came out and I was hooked. This series of events kinda spooked me, so when Verizon exchanged the phone, I upped for another DX and I'm really glad I did.

When comparing the DX forums with the Dinc forums, I think I see more serious issues going on with Dincs than I do with DXs. Re-booting, battery life issues, etc. But I also know that there are a LOT of people with the Dinc and they LOVE the phone, so there's definitely some great things about the phone.

Have you posed this same question in the Dinc forums? You have to know that things will be a little, shall we say, slanted in here toward the DX.

I have both; Incredible and Droid X.  I am much happier with the Droid X.

I agree with other posters and add to that:

The Droid X manages Contacts much better than the Incredible.

Both can Backup and Restore Contacts to/from SD Card but Droid X is so much better.

Droid X has three microphones used with the camcorder.  Incredible does not.

The Droid X larger screen is so much better!  There's much more to be said but I will end it with this...

Yes!  The Droid X is worth the extra $50.

I asked the guy at the Verizon store today about the Incredible. He has one and says he likes it. However it doesn't have Swype, and that is one of the things I like about the X...in addition to the bigger screen. And I've heard the battery life on the Incredible is pretty bad. I admit the incredible is a more "sexy" looking phone.

I have tried both and i decided on the Droid X, I feel overall its a superiour device, but thats my opinion....  I love my droid X and I do not regret my decisions, i actually own two Droid X, one for use and other one (Bought for Craigslist) to test software on and other than a bug or two here and there I havent had any issues but I expect this because of the number of apps I test on them...

I think you wont go wrong with the Droid X.

You can visit our link below, it will allow you to click compare on the two devices. Once compared it may be easier for you to choose which device you would like to purchase.

http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneOverviewByDevice...

Once you click compare on the two devices, scroll up above the phones top right and click the blue check mark to see the differences.
