Thanks for your comment regarding the HTC. I'm sure many users will find this comment valuable. You may want to try turning off your wifi, gps, and lowering your screen brightness to help manage your battery better.

There are widgets with the Dinc that allows you to turn the different settings on and quickly and you use its "capabilities" as needed. With my little old phone, I can manage to get 20+ hours out of the stock battery.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

it doesn't make the phone useless at all. i actually don't use wifi as i find it plenty fast on 3g. however, if i do want to use it, it takes about 5 seconds to turn it on. there's just no point in having it on wifi 24-7. when you want to browse then turn it on. also, i have the screen set at about 30% bright and find that it's actually better this way when i'm out in the sun and inside it still looks amazing. i leave gps on though. it's just like any electronic device. if you leave all the bells and whistles running, even when you're not using them, it'll drain the battery faster.

I guess my humor was lost.....
I have an app that automatically turns on and off my wifi, I actually get pretty good battery time, I don't bother checking it, my point (joke) was I could turn everything off and make it a phone which would last 3 days, but then I could just buy a plain old phone....
carry on

That is hilarious. I wonder if the original poster still loves her phone? I hate mine now, it is nearly useless. It is equally, or even more funny that the last post to this topic was months ago, yet it is the first topic on the list.

I've had mine for a year and a half. It isn't as bad, but far from good. lol I can't even get the Gingerbread update so I just stopped trying. I feel like if I do anything else to it, I'll make it worse.

Sorry some of you are having issues. I've been an Incredible user since the first day it was released and it's still strong and competitive in the market (save for the battery). So much so I've been eligible for an upgrade sometime now but this phone is good enough to keep me satisfied until the first quad core phones come out shortly. Yes, battery life is terrible but I am a power user...:-/
