Is anyone noticing that the camera seems kind of dark when taking pictures? Once the camera has taken the image the image comes out bright, but before taking the picture its dark. Does anyone know any settings that will fix this?
It was said. that some of the phone may have defective camaras. Just take it back they will take care of you.
Most of the camera problems I've read about have to do with an inability to focus. You get 'red' corners instead of the good focus 'green' corners. Have not heard of a dark appearing view finder? Take it back. Let a tech at a VZW store see it and if he/she can't explain or fix it to your satisfaction, then get a new Droid.
You paid for 'good phone.

Concerning the DROID's Camera Auto-Focus: If you press the camera button half way it results in red corner lines. This is an indication that the auto-focus was not successful. Auto focus can take more than one attempt. We are working with manufacturer on this issue and will work towards a resolution as quickly as possible.
