How hard is it to set a phone up or get it going? Stuff like voice mail and things?

do you have serive already? if so voicemail should be setup

it took me 15 minutes to activate and setup my fascinate and my wifes droid 2

then 5 more minutes to take em both to the dentist

yes i have service just trying to save some money. and not to comp savy this will be my 1st smart phone i've never even sent a tex message i can save $80 buying here instead of store

well basically these are the steps iirc

1. backup your old phone, backup assistant should work.

2 get new phone.

3. turn off old phone

4 turn on new phone

5. follow the onscreen instructions (there should be an activate button that makes a call)

6. follow the voice prompts (you will be entering the order info and the number info)

7. you will need to enter your google email info, or create one

8. import info from backup assistant

these are the simple steps
