Bellsouth pop3 problems

I can't send from my bellsouth.net account. Have verified outgoing settings...any suggestions?

The best way to resolve this is to delete the account then re-add it. The incoming server settings should be: mail.bellsouth.net; Alternate settingsop.att.yahoo.com port 995; Alternate settings:imap.n.mail.yahoo.com port 143. The outgoing server settings should be: mail.bellsouth.net; Alternate settings smtp.att.yahoo.com port 465; Alternate settings smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com port 587. Once you have verified these settings it should work properly. Hope this helps.

what is the port number for bellsouth, you neglected to post that? Please
