Hello Verizon Community,

 

We are excited to announce that after a year of hard work on behalf of the Verizon Community Team​ we are finally launching the new Community tomorrow afternoon (2/19/19). Tonight at 5pm EST we will be setting the community into read only mode so you will still be able to search for solutions and read content as you always have you just will not be able to login to your account and new users will not be able to register during this time. Once the community is set to read only we will kickoff the migration, which entails a full redesign of the look and feel, brand new information architecture and revamping of the current ranking structure.

 

Based on our timeline, we estimate we will be live by 5pm EST on 2/19/19

 

A few things you can expect to see with this project:

 

  • Personalized Homepage
  • New ranks, missions and badges
  • New content structure offering quick access to the most relevant user generated content
  • Leaderboards at the category level (which currently we only have for the entire community)
  • New Blogs written by Community team members, Verizon Employees and maybe even YOU
  • Access to your own stats so you can keep up with things like how many solutions you've provided, how many likes your post has received, etc

 

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. We are so excited to unveil the project we have spent so much time on and we hope that you love it just as much as we do. Please keep in mind this is just the first phase in a multi-phased project so once we are live, get in there and update your profile, avatar and don't forget to introduce yourself!! Once you are all set up please don't hesitate to check out the Community section and give use your feedback so we can continue to evolve the Community into the digital playground, that YOU as the Community member wants to collaborate on!
