connecting 2 computers with one mifi

I am trying to connect to the internet with two computers using a mifi2200. One computer is a desktop via USB cable and the other is a laptop via an internal wireless thingy. I got both of them to work just fine by themselves but when i try to connect both at the same time it kicks the laptop off. Is it possible to connect both at the same time with one on the cable and the other wireless? Any info would be appreciated.

what you want to do isn't what it the MiFi was designed to do.

when the Verizon MiFi is attached via cable to a computer, it serves only that computer.

to connect multiple computers, those computers need to all have wifi.

here's a way to get around this limitation, but verizon and novatel aren't likely to support you afterwards.

tether MiFi and still have WiFi: http://bit.ly/eijey
