I have downloaded the latest version of the VZAccess Manager .msi file and am planning on pushing it out via Active Directory to our laptop users. When attempting to push out the software we do not get the desktop icon to show up. I have tried to create a transform file with InstEd and do the following:
- Open the VZAccess Manager.msi file in InstEd
- Under the Transform menu select New
- Under the Property table I have added a new key called: DESKTOPICON with a value of 1
- Under the Property table I have added a new key called: LAUNCHPROGRAM with a value of 1
I then save the mst file and copy it to the machine I am testing it on.
Then I run msiexec /qn /i "VZAccess Manager.msi" /t "vzam.mst" and the desktop icon is not created.
Do you have any tips for pushing VZAccess Manager out via Active Directory to include the desktop icon and to start automatically on login?

Any ideas on how to accomplish this task?
