Upgrade top vza6.10 prevents vista wireless from connecting to internet

I downloaded and upgraded to vz access manager 6.10 from 6.7 for my novatel usb727 modem - looks like that upgrade may not be compatible looking at some device/software combos on the website - but my wi-fi wireless doesn't connect to the internet though it finds the router OK - HELP

I have tried uninstalling VZA but it won't uninstall - can't find the install log, it says. reinstalled 6.7 over the new vza manager n vza works well but wi-fi does not.

HELP!!

system restore to before you did the upgrade?
