I just got an iPhone 7 and noticed that it does not connect to the network extender that I have had for about 2 months now. My wife and my work iPhone 6S's connect just fine but not my 7 and I cannot figure out why. Any suggestions as I have tried rebooting the phone, the network extender and turning off wireless calling.

Did you upgrade to iOS 10.1?
others have been having this problem, so maybe they will chime in. There was reports 10.1 helped.
In the meantime, remember you can use wifi calling at home to get a good signal.

Yep I have 10.1 and also I have wifi calling enabled, but wifi calling can be tricky when you leave your private wireless network location so I usually just leave it off. My extender works just fine for my other two iPhones which happen to be 6s's running the latest IOS.
