I purchased a OnePlus 6t right after it was released late last fall. I was going from a Google Pixel XL to the OP. I took the SIM card out of my Pixel, inserted it in SIM Slot 1 on the 6t, and everything worked great except receiving texts. I called in and the tech support specialist enabled CDMA-Less Device on my account, and I haven't had any issues since.

A friend just purchaesd a OP 7 Pro. They were going from an iPhone 6s to the OP 7 Pro, and upon swapping the SIM, had the same "can't receive texts" issue I had. We were told by Verizon tech support that swapping SIMs from iPhone to Android frequently doesn't work, and suggested we go to a corporate store for a new SIM.
After going to the Verizon store, the tech support specialist inserted a new SIM, monkeyed around on the account to get it activated, and lastly enabled CDMA-Less Device on their account. After a few minutes of waiting, the OP 7 Pro had full functionality.

As for wifi calling, I'm not currently able to use it on the 6t (not sure on the 7 Pro, but I will find out). HD calling is enabled and supported, but not wifi calling. From what I've read, it's up to Verizon to whitelist devices as OP devices support wifi calling.

mason-1, we truly appreciate the feedback you've provided and we're glad to hear that you're able to use your OnePlus 6T device on the Verizon network after speaking with our Technical Support team. We've also noted your reference to your friend having purchased an OP 7 Pro after having previously used an iPhone 6s. We also noted your reference to your friend having used the SIM Card from the iPhone 6s in the OP 7 Pro and receiving a notification that the device couldn't text messages, as you had experienced before. Normally different equipment manufacturer's SIM Cards are not compatible (e.g. iPhone to Android device, etc.) We're glad to hear that upon visiting one of our corporate stores, that your friend's device is also working. There are instances when non-Verizon devices won't be able to access specific features (e.g. Wi-Fi Calling, etc.) and we apologize for the inconvenience. We recommend visiting our website to view our list of supported unlocked devices at https://www.verizonwireless.com/unlocked-smartphones/. We're confident that this information will be helpful. - RobertC_VZW

@mason-1   Unless a miracle occurs, Wifi calling will not be available on any oneplus phones.  There is no reason other than Verizon's refusal to allow it.  (AT&T won't either).  It's excluded by both IMEI and software.    No reason other than the desire to sell carrier phones and tie us with installments.
   Pity.

oneplus are great phones at a very competitive price.
We can dream.

@vzw_customer_support I appreciate the response, but the OP 6t and 7 Pro are both listed on the page that you sent, so unless I'm missing something, it's not helpful.

@NewOldcustomer It really is a pity.

I apologize for any confusion. An unlocked phone is not tied to a specific phone carrier. Yes, this device is posted on our website as a Support Unlocked Phone. Even though it is supported it does not mean it will have access to the same features as our Device Branded device do. Does this information help? AlbertoR_VZW

Recently bought a Oneplus 7 pro and moved my sim card to it. Didn't have any issues that I could see but later found I could not receive text messages. I tried called Verizon but after 40 mins I had to hang up. I tried to call back later but now it was after hours. Is there a way to just email Verizon and enable this CDMA-Less option? I was thinking this was going to be a easy switch since Verizon says its a supported phone.

So looking around I found a "Activate device on existing line" link. The link sent me to a page to enter my device id. Then asked for my sim. Both were marked as OK from the web site. It then said that a account change was needed for CDMA Less provisioning. Yes perfect.... I click OK and was left with one final activate device button.

I click activate....... Error Failed to active please call Verizon.

Ugh...

The phone will work with talk, text and data.  As for numbershare, that may be a problem.  What watch?
