3G vice 4G/LTE

My device/OnePlus 5 lists CDMA  Bands 2 and 4 but not band 13. I can only connect to the cell tower at 3G (EVDO). How can I connect to bands 2 and 4 to get LTE speeds?

The device isn't certified for the Verizon Wireless network. Verizon Certified Open Market Android Smartphones
