I have a new Z10 and am unable to setup vmail. i followed the instructions that came w/ the device + online via BlackBerry Z10 support, however I'm prompted for a password and do not have. Any suggestions?

Congrats on your new Z10. That is an awesome device. Usually with new voicemail boxes you just have to walk through the set up. Not to worry, you can reset your voicemail password in My Verizon. Once you log into your account, click on Device Management and you will see the option to reset it. It's that easy! Let us know if you need anything else.
