I purchased two Blackberry 8830s two weeks ago for my family plan. Both phones functioned brilliantly, until last week when my phone stopped texting. I can send and recieve calls, emails, and can use all the web functions, and can receive but not send SMS text messages.
The twin phone in the family plan still texts. It is not a signal problem as we have tested both phones in the same room at the same time. I've also checked to make sure that the text plan is still on the phone plan. Is it possible i've managed to change a setting thereby blocking my ability to send SMS texts?
try a battery pull then resend your service books
