Synchronizing my Blackberry with 2003 Outlook

I am trying to synchronizing my BB with my Outlook 2003 calendar.  When I click on the Synchronize button in the Desktop Manager, I keep getting the same message "Unknown Error Reported"  Sync does not go through.  Any help you can give me?

Here is something I found that might work for you in using the USB cable exclusively:Here's how to make it work.

1. Shut down Outlook.
2. Run Desktop Manager and connect your phone.   You will see the PIN number of the phone displayed in the bottom left of the DM panel.    No PIN = No connection.
3. Select Synchronize and then Configuration Synchronize.    Now click the Synchronization button on the right.
4. Follow the Wizard and slect Outlook and wahtever else you feel is appropriate.
5. When you are finished you should be able to sync.

I have the BB Curve 8330. Syncs with address book, notes, etc, but will NOT sync with Outlook 2007 calendar. HELP!
