My Verizon icon on the BlackBerry Pearl

I have downloaded the My Verizon icon on my BB Pearl.  however when I click on the icon I keep getting an error message that says "sorry we are unable to connect to Verizon Wireless ervers.  Please try again after some time".  Any ideas? thx
