Delete function with the BB Storm with new updates

I am looking for a delect key or some functional way to delete without using the backspace key to remove a word, letter of sentence.I inadverteny clicked on solved button. I am trying again to see if someone has an answer.

Maybe if you explained why using the backspace is a problem, it would be easier to suggest a solution.
