My BB Tour automactically adds my contact to contact alerts when I change information in the contact book. I have taken it to the store and they are perplexed. Verizon does not know how this is happening. HELP! Each time one of my friends change their numbers, I change it in their profile in my contact section and the phone by itself, changes their ringtone profile and adds them to a list in contact alerts under "select a sound profile section" of the main menu. What gives? Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Isn't that just a feature for allowing you to control different ringtones for your different contacts? So that when you add a contact, or edit it, it adds it to the list under profiles (which is where sounds are controlled on BB's) so you can give different people different ringtones?
Or are you saying that it's making multiple instances of it (i.e., the old version of a contact is still there, PLUS the new entry for the edited contact?
