Blackberry Storm sync with Lotus Organizer 6.0

I recently purchased the Blackberry Storm 9530 because the marketing materials say that it syncs with Lotus Organizer 6.0/6.1.  For the life of me, I can't get it to work.  I downloaded Desktop Mgr. 4.7 and it doesn't give me the option to sync with Lotus Organizer.  Some other threads said to use Desktop Mgr. 4.2, but of course it doesn't have the drivers for the Storm.  I got the drivers, but when I install them, 4.2 uninstalls.

This shouldn't be so difficult.  Can anyone please help me with this.  I've used Lotus Organizer for a long time and don't want to give it up.  I'll give up the Storm before I give up Organizer.

Thanks!

Thanks, Grim.  I'll give this a try, but this link is for Lotus Notes Calendar, not Lotus Organizer which is different.  We use Lotus Calendar at work, but I like the functionality of Organizer better.  My Organizer doesn't sit on our work server, it sits on my laptop, so I know I will need to connect it and manually sync it.

Believe it or not, but I got it to work....here's what I did:

  • Downloaded the driver for the Storm.  It will look like Desktop Mgr. 4.7 is installing, but it's not; it's just the driver.
  • Downloaded & installed Desktop Manager 4.2.2.
  • Set it up to sync with Lotus Organizer and it's been working fine.....

Until today....I'm having a problem now syncing my contacts/address book only - everything else is syncing fine (calendar & tasks)  Desktop Manager says that it's "adding" my 355 contacts (I actually have 379, but that's different issue), but there's nothing in my Blackberry Storm when it's finished.  On the storm, when I select,  contacts/Menu/Select Contact List/Show All Contact Lists, it's empty.  When I look at the databases in Desktop Manager (click Backup/Restore from the Desktop Manager main menu, then select Advanced), it says that there are 0 contacts in my Address Book.

Any suggestions?

I have used Lotus Organizer 6.0 for years and have used Intellisync with my Palm Pilot to synchronize.     My Palm Pilot died and I now need a new phone, too, so I was thinking of a Blackberry Storm.     But I want to make sure I know that it will work with my Lotus Organizer 6.0...and what I need to do to make it work.
