I am SURE this is a dumb question, but... I got a blackberry 8830, and was expecting to be able to type in a URL to get to specific web sites, however, I cannot seem to locate any place to enter the URL...  I get to something called "Browser" but there doesn't seem to be anyplace to type... and I just being dense??

First page of the browser should be the verizon screen. While there, press the menu key (left of the trackball), when the menu pops up, highlight "Go to", press trackball, browser goes to new page.

 

You should an address bar at the top of that page.

Great post Taboo. If I may add my 2 cents. Instead of the Verizon screen continuing to be brought up everytime you open your browser, you can set that new page to be there. Or any web page for that matter. To do this you need to open your browser. Push your menu button, select option , then select browser configuration. From here it's self explanatory. In the start page tab is several options as well as a home page address tab.
