Yes. I have sent the text with attached picture to the phone, and see the attachment icon on the message list, but cannot figure out how to extract the picture.
newheart42108, Let's get the options that you need for your pictures. If you have the picture on your screen and want to save it, this step is the way to go https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-53693/ Does this help? If not, please explain where you are getting this picture from. Can this picture be sent as a picture message versus an attachment?

JoelR_VZW, thanks for your response.
The picture is on my Mac. I sent it to email@example.com. It shows in my inbox with an icon that appears to be an envelope with some people in front of it. There is no option to Save Picture as indicated in the kb you linked to.
After an extensive search, there appears to be no way to send a "picture message" from my computer.
I used to send from my email to my basic flip phone all the time using the the same address to send as a picture text. Is the picture in JPEG format? If it's in some other format like tiff or something then maybe that's why and you should convert it to JPEG. Mary
If the picture is too large then you need to resize it, before sending. Send it again and see what happens. Try a different photo and see what happens. That's all I can think of. My husband has a gusto non smart phone and this works when I try. Mary
newheart42108, we know how important it is to have your photo saved on your device as well as your computer. We greatly appreciate your efforts thus far. Let's dive deeper into this to get this resolved. Do you know the file size of the photo that you're trying to send? When sending the photo from your Mac, do you receive any error messages? Also, please verify that you have not setup a block to prevent email addresses from sending you messages online. You can see #1 for more details here: http://vz.to/2rk5H1g
