My husband still uses a lg env3 (maroon).
His problem is the lock. when he clicks "unlock" it only stays unlocked about 5 seconds then relocks. I can't for the life of me figure out if there is a setting I am missing ?
There should be a settings menu on the outter screen to set this time to be longer. Hit Menu, and look for Settings.

Thank you for your inquiry. In additional to what was suggested, I am providing the steps on how to get into the settings to adjust them to help solve the concern. It deals with the Keyguard settings that can be adjusted. These steps can be found on page 19 of the user manuel that can be found at this link along with other helpful troubleshooting steps.
Keyguard Setting sis available on the External display
To set:
1. Press to unlock
2. Press MENU
3. Scroll to KEYGUARD and press.
4. Select Keyguard Timer: Always Off. It also has settings for 7 Seconds, 15 Seconds and 30 Seconds.
For Unlock Options: Press Once/ Press Twice.
