USB drivers for Samsung Haven

I'm searching for usb drivers for the Samsung Haven (SCH-U320).  I've tried Samsung's site, the VZ Manager, google searches, and BitPim.  There is no bluetooth on this phone (ouch).  Any help much appreciated.

At this time the device is not able to use the usb drivers. Unfortunately it was not designed to. We do offer other great feature phones that have these abilities. Hope this helps.

How do you expect to transfer contacts? I am sitting here putting 250 numbers by hand and hoping the phone never breaks.

Verizon Wireless offers Back Up Assistant. There are no subscription fees for the service. You can aautomatically back up your mobile contacts to your online address book. Never worry about losing a name or number again. Add, delete, edit and print your contacts online and send the changes to your mobile phone.

Unfortunately, this phone also does NOT support Backup Assistant! So no bluetooth, no backup assistant, and no usb cable...exactly how are people supposed to backup their phones???

My local Verizon store attempted to upgrade my software from their office about a year ago.  I was having a major safety concern with the lack of hands free capability.  I have been trying to get this phone to recognize voice commands in my car.   After 2 attempts at different stores (one Verizon owned), I had the phone replaced.

 

 This phone will not recognize voice commands in a vehicle at highway speeds.   In a quite environment at home or at my office, about 1 in 4 tries will work.

 

How do I file a complaint, I bought this through a Verizon franchise about a year ago?  This Samsung Haven is the worst phone I have purchased in the last 15 years. 

 

With no USB connection or backup assistant, I am one unhappy customer.

I apologize for any issues with your Samsung Haven. In reviewing the Samsung Haven device, I would like to explain that voice commands given while inside a vehicle can be more difficult, since background noise does play a factor. Have you attempted the voice command feature in your vehicle with all the windows closed and other sounds (radio, etc.) turned off? When at home or at the office, you mentioned that the Voice Command works one out of 4 times on an average. In these cases, are you making sure that the environment is free of background sounds as well? Doing so can vastly improve the Voice Command's success in hearing you correctly. 

 

You may find that your line (or another line on your account) is eligible or is near eligibility for an upgrade, since you mentioned that you are not happy with your device.
