During the evening I have my wife's LG Accolade turned off and charging. However, at some point during the night it turns itself on. In the morning I find it turned on, but it does not have a signal, instead it displays "Searching for Svc". As soon as I turn it off and back on again, it finds a signal. This happens every evening/morning without fail. I also have an LG Accolade, but it does not exhibit this odd behavior. It is annoying. Any suggestions for how to stop my wife's phone from turning on unexpectendly during the night while it is charging?

It is unusual for phones to turn on by themselves. The phone my have a system issue that is causing it not to shut down properly. I recommend resetting the system to see if it clears the issue up. I have provided instructions below from page 88 of your user guide on how to reset the phone. You can also click on the link: to get additional information from the online user guide.

Thanks for this advice. I have two questions:
1. How do I get the "lock code" refferred to in step 5?
2. Will this erase all of my Contacts stored in the phone?
