I got my son a used LG Voyager and gave him a micro-SD card so he could put music on it from his laptop to listen to. He put it on and then put the card in the phone. It doesn't "see" the music in any way. How do you transfer music you already have onto the phone? Can't it just automatically see there's music on the card?
Thanks.

Was the card formatted in the phone first? Once that's done and the card is connected to the laptop, there should be folders like My_Pix, My_Music, etc., on the card. Copy the songs into the My_Music folder and they should then show up on the phone.

You're welcome. These darn phones get rather picky sometimes about where and how to file things.
