I Do not want text messaging on my cell phone. Can I downgrade to another phone without text messaging?

ALL phones have the ability to send/receive text messages. You can call Verizon and have them block your line from sending/receiving them, though.

ALL phones have the ability to send/receive text messages. You can call Verizon and have them block your line from sending/receiving them, though.

Wrong. I tried that and was told they can't do it on there end and it is impossible on my end since there is nothing listed anywhere to do that.

We can block up to 5 numbers for you through the network with most accounts. Most devices offer a way to block numbers as well. We recommend looking into such processes to ensure you are getting the most coverage possible in regard to blocking numbers.
