Text message back up

How do I back up text messages from both lines to my Verizon

I don't know about backing them up to VZW but I know you can back them up via iTunes.

I can do that for both lines. I was told they could be backed up to Verizon

Verizon integrated messaging automatically backs up messages to the cloud for 90 days, perhaps this is what you heard?

That could be it I think. Do I just log on to my Verizon ?? Or how do I do it

I believe you have to be signed up for Verizon Integrated messaging, are you?

I am yes but I can't figure out how to do my husbands phone for him now

What I read said they should automatically sync to the cloud, I would check the settings on both the cloud, desktop app and your husbands phone to see if this feature has been turned off. It could just be that it will only sync on Wi-Fi and it hasn't been connected to Wi-Fi etc.

You'll need to set up a My Verizon account for your husband's line.  Each line needs it's own log-in credentials for line-specific features such as backups and integrated messaging.

Doesn't have to be done with his phone cause he at work but I can do it when he gets home I guess
