Can I Get The Same Promotions Offered If I Buy My Watch Elsewhere?

If I buy an Apple watch 3 from somewhere other than Verizon, can it still be activated for free and get the three months of service for free? Or does it only apply to Apple Watch 3 bought directly from Verizon?

The good news is that you can bring you watch purchased from an authorized dealer, add it to your account, and still qualify for the promotion.
