I have always had iPhones. For the most part I have been pleased. The only thing that bothers me is the short battery life. I have been thinking of switching to a Samsung Android. Is the battery life any better wit these phones?

When the software and apps and settings are set correctly and depending on use, most people can get a full day plus with devices with 2500-3000mah batteries.

Yes. It's all about battery size = longevity. Not so much the operating system.
The iphone 6 and 6+ have much longer battery life, much bigger battery.
I Do think the Android systems give better reporting and ability to control how apps work in the background.

IDK now, give me an OS that doesn't know how to regulate itself via proper coding and apps that don't jive with the OS and you have a battery killer for sure.
