Discounts on what the two year price? The discount "credit" off the 2 year price known as the new every two has long gone. If you have a plan that allows a two year contact you still get a discount. The full retail of most smartphones starts at 600 and up so to get it for 99 is still a discount".

I logged on & looked into upgrading to S7 & I got a price of $672, no discount.

You do have the option to purchase the phone under Device Payment Plan which spreads the full retail price of the phone over 24 months.

New every two was a good program.

I struggle with paying as much for a phone as a nice laptop cost...

If only my Samsung tablet was also a phone.. it cost about 1/8 th of my Samsung note 4...
