my husband is using music mania and has a lot of music on his phone. his phone is crashing and I got to get him a new phone, anyone know how to transfer the songs so he doesn't loose them?
if he used an sd card to store music, remove the sd card & it may be usable in the next phone.
i used samsung smart switch to xfer music from pc to phone(no sd card)
musics under DCIM in file manager of phone. just connect usb to PC and select music files and copy them or cut and paste them all/done.
The DCIM folder is usually reserved for photos taken with the camera. If the op put the music on the phone originally manually, it should have been saved to the Music folder. If it was downloaded from the specific application, more then likely the music was saved to the application specific folder or saved as hidden temporary files because of the DRM restrictions on the music keeping the downloaded music inaccessible to the user from the phone.
