Why do I have to pay $10 for "Tablet Line Access " on my bill if I only use it at home on my own Wi-Fi and always keep the Mobile data off?

If you bought it at the discounted 2yr price, it's required. You've signed a 2yr contract. If you don't want to pay the $10/month you would want to purchase at full retail cost, without contract.

Or have chosen to purchase a wifi only tablet.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Did they not tell you about the $10 a month when they sold you the tablet at a discounted price? I got mine free but was clearly told it would cost $10 a month on the plan which was fine as I wanted a tablet with data. If you wanted a tablet with wifi only you could have gone any where and gotten one at full price ir on sale and it didn't have to be hooked to your Verizon account. After 2yrs just drop it from the plan. Mary
