Just the fact that you can make a call and text over CDMA is proof they have them. See Sprint when purchasing from Motorola. They will not even with an activated Sim allowed to make calls because the IDs are not in the system. It is documented from Motorola themselves.

This is no secret that CDMA requires them. If they won't be required and doesn't need the IDs like you claim then an unlocked iPhone 6 or 6+ would work on Verizon but they don't. Go figure of course you will say but they don't have CDMA radios, but then you'd be wrong as they use the same radio between them and the CDMA versions much like the Nexus 6.

Anyways have fun waiting for something that you could be already using as I already am doing...  As well as thousands of other users.
