Upgrade Soon, Which phone should I get?

Hi all,

I've been researching new phones for my wife because her upgrade is soon.  But, I'm torn between a few phones and what would work best for her over the next 2 years or so.  Here's what I've come down to:

4G Phones:

Droid Charge

Droid Thunderbold

3G Phones:

Droid Incredible 2

Droid X2

The front-runners are the Charge and the Dinc2, but I can't decide if I'm overlooking the other two, or if the two I'm looking at are the best option for her.

Her uses will be internet usage, apps, light gaming, e-mail, text, and possibly reading books on the phone.  I'm leaning more towards the Dinc2 because I'm not sure when 4G will hit where I live, though it's up and running where she works, so it'd be 4G/3G split if the Charge is the one to go with.

In any case, any opinions on the matter are appreciated.

At this point, I would say don't run out and get a Tbolt.  Many, many people are having issues with random reboots and GPS.

I'd go with the Droid Incredible. Considering you're not sure when the 4G will hit. The Droid 2 is pretty unreliable. A friend of mine had that phone for a while, and it would constantly power off suddenly on her. Good luck.

The original Droid Incredible is no longer available. It is considered an EOL device.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I would think the charge would be the best suited device. Nice light, bright. A lot of women like that phone

the fact that  4g isn't in your area doesn't really matter too much

Really I would head into a store if at all possible, try to compose and email, read some internet pages..see what device she likes
