Unwanted apps

I'm sick and tired of unwanted apps trying to download on my phone! Most of the time I have to hope to be able to answer a call because these stupid apps keep trying to download! I have already been to a virizon store and the people there could nit resolve the issue! I never had this problem with sprint! Very seriously considering to going back to them! Why can't this be resolved!

Go into the settings of the phone and disable or turn off the apps you dont want in the application manager....issue resolved.

You should also turn off the notifications for any of the applications you disabled. I have noticed by turning off the notifications in the application info screen (same place as the disable/turn off option) those same applications won't attempt to update from the Play Store.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Been there.  You can prevent auto update in Google play, but you have to do this for each app you want to stop.

Open google play,  Tap menu, open My Apps.

Scroll down list of installed apps and select the nuisance apps one by one.

ONe each app is a "more" triple dots at the top right of screen.

Tap the dots and uncheck the box which says "auto update"

NExt time you update apps, it will ask permission and you can opt to 'skip' this update on this app.

It will still come up on the list, but at least you won't have to keep disabling every time.

hope that helps!
