When is verizon getting this update?? From what I can tell all the other carriers have this update out for the Galaxy S3 and the Note II. For whatever reason, we don't and also I read that it is available for update on Samsung kies, but Verizon disabled upgrading or initializing the firmware in Kies for THAT version of Firmware on Verizon S3 models, because I have seen other people do it with other phones on other carriers, VERIZON STOP THIS GARBAGE LOCK OUT CRAP! and WHEN ARE YOU GIVING US THIS UPDATE SINCE WE CAN"T APPLY IT OURSELVES LIKE EVERYONE ELSE?
According to this article, the update "will arrive over the air or via the Samsung Kies sync app sometime between January 8 and 11, but Samsung says the update date will vary with country and carrier" (my underlining). Seems possible that the delay has as much to do with Samsung's timing as with VZW.
