Have Samsung s6 and cannot delete pics from album. Normal help answers are useless. The 'delete' selection doesn't appear at bottom of screen

That is definitely odd and we certainly want you to be able to manage the content on your device. To be sure, are these pictures apart of a specific gallery and do you know the title of this gallery? Do you use any cloud services to backup your images? If so, your device may be creating a Cloud gallery to show what has been uploaded or backed up to the cloud but pictures would not actually be stored within this album. So the images within the gallery would either no longer be on the device and stored on the cloud or belong to a separate album. Take a look and keep us posted.
