On screen home button, bar

Kinda perturbed really. How do I make this go away?

In most apps the bar is persistent, and will even convert from being a transparent or black background to being a solid white with three dots. The bar makes no effort to become hidden and in fact only increases its obnoxious visibility by becoming solid white.

I have the Transpyre and this bar is one of the most annoying things.
Mostly because it will not fade. Becomes bright white. Cannot be made smaller. I not adaptive. Is not configurable.
-and by placing the buttons on the scree the effect screen space is decreased while the inactive part of the phones bottom edge is increased to just about 3sq inches!

YareliM_VZW,

This is not a malfunction. It is a feature of this type of phone. The buttons are on screen. This is unfortunately not something that call to Verizon technical support can resolve.

The issue is that the BAR of buttons is obnoxious and take up valuable screen space.verizon transpyre home button.png

Sorry for the confusion, rflulling. We appreciate the visual assistance! You're correct. The menu bar in your pictures is working as designed and is not a malfunction. Your feedback is appreciated and will be passed on to the manufacturer for future suggestions on the user interface.

I understand that Verizon has a policy of don't fix it. But I am looking

for a fix, even if it means circumventing the OEM installations. I want

this thing to fade away, or retract, or something. Its not that I desire a

huge screen but really, I am not a fan of this white bar always being

there, even when it does not need to be. This is an interface issue I feel

is being regarded as a joke. Just as people are complaining about the white

backgrounds in Lolly pop interfaces.

I do not think the on screen buttons are a bad idea as they can allow for

greater configurability of the interface and the buttons. But if its going

to a ridged non configurable thing, then what was the point in the first

place? Now its just waste of space, stands out like a sore thumb and makes

full screen applications feel like they are running in standard aspect,

like old PC monitors, rather than widescreen.
