There is a Contacts app as a quick way to view your contacts. Otherwise, Phone > Contacts will also display them.

Actually, I meant to ask the name of the file as I cannot find it on my new Note 4 (I am trying to get a copy on my desktop after a hard drive crash).

If you backed up contacts to your Google account, you can log into Gmail and save a copy from there.

jj71,
Snn5 has provided great advice. Do you know if you've got your contacts synced up to Google? Here is a way you can migrate those back to a computer that uses Outlook: http://bit.ly/1QQcs2H
If you didn't have a Google backup running, but use Verizon Cloud, you can do the same thing using these steps: http://vz.to/1Iidh09

Gotcha. If your contacts were manually exported from the phone, most of the time the file will end in the .csv extension. Doing a wildcard like *.csv might help locate your contacts if the filenames are still mostly intact.
