have not been able to receive personal text messages yesterday and today. I have received my Verizon billing notice today, and a coupon from a store I subscribe to. But NOT getting text messages from multiple family members. Who knows what else I am missing? AND I can send text messages ONLY IF it is attached to a photo! Have already restarted phone. No change. Help?

janiejake, I understand where you are coming from completely. Texting is my main source of communication so without it, I'd be a little lost. Let's find out more on what is going on here. You mentioned you have a Droid that is an HTC, what model? What zip code are you in?

I believe it is the Droid DNA HTC. Zip 55434.
As I stated, my texts do not get delivered. They sit on my phone with a
symbol with a status of "pending". IF I attach a photo to the message, hen
it goes.

All this information is great and we definitely want to be sure your text are working smoothly as you would expect. You mentioned this was several family members, is it only restricted to these family members? Do you have an idea of why types of phones they use? Janiejake, sending and receiving messages makes a huge difference. This area does aooear to be up and running as normal. Do you recall adding any new games, apps or software to the phone in the past few days? In your message threads, if you have quite a few, may we have you delete what you no longer need, then power the phone off and back on to retest please?
