Sorry, I had problems trying to post this question last night from my tablet.

It seems weird that there are only 18 reviews?

I need to replace my Droid X stat and am looking for some feedback

on the M.......but can't seem to find much consumer feedback.

Please post and let me know how this one works out for you.

      Thanks!

Well I just bought one on Tuesday, and the thing suffered a total melt-down after a full charge, so I'm hoping the new one I exchanged it for yesterday holds up. So far so good, I've got my fingers crossed. I've had several smart phones in the past, Moto Q, 2 HTC's (loved the Inc 1 I traded in on the M) and never had any issues with them. But when it works, it works great, good signal, snappy LTE. On 3G I hardly used any data (less than 1 Gig/month) but now I've really gotta watch it because I'm only on a 2 Gig plan so 4G can eat that up FAST. Only problem is the Wi-Fi hotspots I connect to are all public and slow as molasses so that defeats the purpose of high speed cellular data I suppose, but I'll live with it. At least it's $30 for the 2 Gig and not $50 for ONE gig on these rip-off share everything (including your wallet) accounts.

Verizon (and AT&T as well) REALLY need to re-visit these paltry data allowances on these plans if they expect them to sell.

Verizon's CFO just told attendees at a wireless confrence that the plans are doing better than expected and people are connecting mroe devices than expected. Well that's all fine and dandy for Verizon's profits until the rude awakening comes and the consumers get these HUGE data bills. Sharing 1 Gig on 3 or 4 devices means huge overages. These plans should have a FIVE gig nominal allowance for the $50 verizon charges. $100 should buy at least 20 Gig.

It's having problems with Android v4 just like the older droids, even though it came with it!  I picked one up yesterday from the local store.  Everything works so far, except for this:

You know that big speech command video that gives the example of "Send message to john smith..."  Well, that doesn't work on my phone.  It appears the Android speech/search engine doesn't play well with the Motorola contact list.  I called Verizon tech support and got the usual "..we've never seen that before.." Yeah, right.  It's all over the internet about the other droids having ICS problems with text messages.  Although, this seems to be a small problem, I was counting on being able to do things like this!  Oh yeah, the tech support fix for this?  Take the phone back to the store.  If I do, I'm not walking out woth another phone - I'm walking out with a credit card credit, and going to Sprint.  I'm going back to the main page right now and give my "review."  Let's see if it gets posted.

I did a review of the phone, it has not posted far as I know. Maybe I cant see my own reviews. I got the phone a week ago, so far it has been working well for me. The selling point for me was it is smaller than other smart phones, except the I-phone, which I don't want. It was hard to learn at first, this version of ICS is much different than the one on my old Rezound. The gripes I have, and they might be petty to some, is the keypad volume is very low, and can not be increased in settings. Camera is just average, small lens on back is to blame. Also you cant adjust the picture resolution in settings. Battery life is awesome, I can go a whole day and only use 25 percent. I do leave all radios (wifi, mobile date, bluetooth) off unless needed. I did find out why my reception was funky, default network is "global" in settings, not "LTE/CMDA" , so you should check that if you get this phone.  The 4g LTE works great for me, 3g pops up once in awhile, but I live a major city. Though I like it, I am not sure I would recommend it to others, I can see this being little more difficult to use than past smart phones.

Maybe it's not selling as well as it should because people know that the Razr HD is around the corner?

Could be true..The Razr M will have a the selling point of being smaller. I guess the HD has a 4.7 inch screen, I guess it will be a monster is size.

That is True, the device is running I.C.S but with a Stepped up version of Blur i'v had one in my hands and to me the Edge to Edge display is kind of Like my Droid X that i have but not using as My Maxx's have taken it's place. But i really like the Feel of the New M and if i had the Money to swing one i would get one..

Justine i don't think you'd go wrong with getting the M the Case when i Looked at it Looked like it was Well made and the new Gorilla Glass sets just under the Top edge of it so it has some protection... the phone actually reminds me of my Droid Incredible that i had.. b33

      Update: b33 Smiley Happy
