My Samsung S4 can't connect to WiFi. Can't turn it on. The button is grayed out. Sat on hold for 36 min with Verizon. Went to the Verizon store and they want to do something that will wipe out my entire phone! I tried powering off and removing the batt

Samsung S4 can't connect to WiFi.  Button is grayed out. Tried powering off and removing battery.  Hung up on serv ctr after holding for 36 min.  Verizon store wants to do something that could possibly delete everything on my phn. Any ideas?
