Mobile hot spot and wifi

I turned on my mobile hot spot for the first time this weekend due to traveling and now I'm home trying to use my WiFi and works wifi and it is saying it's connected but when i,open the Internet it is saying unable to connect....what did i do wrong? How can I fix this?

We certainly want to make the network transitions easy, bmdings! Was the Mobile Hotspot turned off? Is the device able to use data on the mobile network instead of WiFi? If this affecting the internet browser as well as other apps using data? I am eager to get to the bottom of this!
