Just got a notification to update the OS on my LG Intuition android based phone. Update failed when connected to wifi 3 times, turned off wifi, and update notified as successful. Problem is: I no longer have app for pictures/video, I no longer can connect to gmail accounts already synced, when clicking on Play store, cannot even access - it just recyles to home screen on phone...same for Gmail, Playstore and who know and who knows what else apps.
Seems like this update of the OS has caused above references. Please advise as I use this phone for business (yes of course I use regular computer for main communications, however this represents an issue for past pics, and formerly installed and synced important gmail accounts for business income purpopses.

Same thing is happening to me on my LG Intuition 😕
However, I plugged it into my pc and all of my pics are still on the phone and I am able to make copies of them to my pc. This update STINKS!!!! The shortcut to the gallery is gone. All of my contacts are gone and it will not open any google services....?
I'm about to do a factory data reset but I fear I might lose all of my files. I'm going to back up what I can first and just see what happens. I will report back.

Same here. Contacts and google account are gone. Trying a factory reset now, hopefully that fixes it. This is very upsetting as I am a trucker and this is my only contact with my family. If verizon is pushing out updates, they should at least make sure it won't mess up the phone. Some of us customers rely on these phones quite a bit!
My LG Intuition won't even go to the homepage. I tried to factory reset it but it won't work. The phone only goes to the boot screen and then freezes and then shuts off or repeats itself.... I am getting really annoyed and angry..

Or, go here: http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/products/backup-assistantplus.html to see what you already have backed up and maybe you will find that your files have already been saved prior. My advice is to check before you reset.
Repeat: This is a very bad bug that apparently has no fix except to get another phone. Do not do a full reset unless you have first plugged your phone into a pc and saved all your photos, music and files. They are still on your phone but you must plug into a pc to access them before you try a reset and delete them. That is what I did and I have all of my stuff saved.
I called verizon support and we tried a factory reset but the issues with the update continued to persist.
I went to my local store and had them check it out and they were stumped...? The only fix they could offer at this point was to order me a new phone so, that is what I did. The funny thing is that all the other LG models they had there at the store updated just fine. My guess is that this problem is specific to the Intuition and hopefully a new one will be ok.
Again, I suggest you back up everything manually to a pc before trying to resolve this issue.

This new OS upgrade has totally slowed my LG Lucid down. I used to really like my phone, but now I can't wait until my upgrade is up so I can get an iPhone. I can't even text at my normal speed because it ends up all jumbled b/c it can't keep up with me anymore. Moving from one app to another is super slow. I used to use my phone for everything and now I avoid it if at all possible. Super annoyed!
